About Rain No More
Rain No More is a stark drama about a pair of female killer thieves who, car less and injured, find sanctuary at a isolated home in the woods, only to realise they may have been intentionally directed there to be killed.
Told through a layered framework of betrayal and societal disconnection. Rain No More is a dark exploration of a mentor/protégé relationship in a world where life and loyalty are wholly disposable commodities.
Driving force behind the film is writer and producer Richard Green who admits the best decision he made on the project was getting Director Chan Shoker and Director of Photography Will Bradshaw on-board.
Will has given everything to the film, his skills are or the highest order and he has created a visually stunning, and somewhat disturbing, world, which thoroughly enhances the plot at every turn.
Chan had a vision of what he wanted long before he first shouted ‘action’ and he has stuck to that vision throughout, steering the cast and crew through difficult periods in the search for ‘that moment’ and ‘that certain look’.
Currently in post-production, the film is undergoing meticulous editing, sound design, and colour grading to achieve the atmospheric tone envisioned during production. Alongside the creative work, the team has curated a selection of reference stills and behind-the-scenes insights to give fans a glimpse into the filmmaking process.
Looking ahead, Rain No More will embark on a journey through the film festival circuit, followed by a limited release. These steps aim to showcase the film to audiences and investors, paving the way for a broader release in the future.
